Maha Kumbh 2025: UP Government Launches Mobile Labs For Food Quality Checks

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, one of the world's largest religious gatherings, has begun in Prayagraj after a significant celestial alignment that occurred after 144 years. Known for its immense spiritual significance, the event has drawn millions of pilgrims from across the globe to the holy place. With such a massive influx of devotees, ensuring public health and safety, especially food quality, becomes a priority for the government. To meet these demands, The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday announced the deployment of mobile laboratories to carry out food inspections at eateries in the Maha Kumbh Mela area here, aiming to monitor hygiene and safety standards.
